Iceland eSIM Plans

A Iceland eSIM gets you online the moment you land: no physical SIM card, no shop queues and no roaming bill – just mobile data across Iceland on the phone you already use. Below you will find current Iceland eSIM plans, coverage details and tips for choosing the right data package.

Why use an eSIM in Iceland?

• No roaming bill: a prepaid plan caps your spend up front, so there are no surprise charges.
• Instant delivery: your QR code arrives by email right after checkout and setup takes a few minutes.
• Keep your number: your home line stays on the phone, so WhatsApp and SMS verification codes keep working.
• 4G/5G data: plans run on local mobile networks in Iceland.

Which Iceland eSIM plan should I choose?

There are currently 44 active plans for Iceland, ranging from 1 GB to 50 GB of data and valid for up to 180 days. Prices start at €0.80. Match the plan to the length of your stay and how much you use your phone:

• Short city break (1–5 days): 1–3 GB usually covers maps, messaging and social media.
• One-week holiday: 5–10 GB leaves room for photo uploads and video calls.
• Long stay or business trip: 15 GB+ plans or long-validity options give the best value.

Plans use local operators' 4G/5G networks across Iceland; speed and coverage depend on your location, device and network load. Verified operators: Nova, Síminn, Vodafone. Visiting several countries?
